About the Association
The LLPA is an association having a unique membership comprising of Advocates, Labour Law Advisers, Trade Unions and its officers, Employers and Companies. Today the Association has about 530 members.
The primary objective of the Association is to uphold the Rule of Law and to promote peaceful resolution of Industrial Disputes and related in the field of Industrial Relations amongst the concerned parties and further to provide necessary facilities to the Member of the Association for effectively pursuing this objective. The Association believes that industrial peace can be established on permanent basis only through the process of responsible collective bargaining. However, at present resolution of Industrial Disputes through adjudication has become an order of the day.
The Association, governed by its Constitution, is inclusive of Life Members, Ordinary Members and Associate Members.The Associate Members comprise of Companies and Trade Unions of whose two representatives are entitled to enjoy the library and bar room facilities
